Our aim foundation a charitable organization with branches in Africa and Asia, has made a USD 500,000 worthy of items to Queen Elizabeth central hospital and Kachere rehabilitation center.
Over 100 various medical items such as Intensive care unit, surgical equipment and rehabilitative equipment such as crutches and wheel chairs were some of the items which were donated.
Speaking during the symbolic handover ceremony in Blantyre on Wednesday 26th July.
Dr. Parth Patel who is a trustee for Our Aim Foundation, stated that they decided to make such donation to the two institution.
Bearing in mind the impact which Q.E.C.H and Kachere rehabilitation center have in assisting patients.
In his remarks, mayor for Blantyre city Wild Ndipo, applauded Our Aim Foundation for the kind gesture, noting that it will go a long way in minimizing some of the challenges at the two institutions.
Ndipo further urged the recipients to make good use of the items donated.
