Artist Tremour (real name Victor Mangobola) will be laid to rest today at Area 18 Cemetery in Lilongwe.
He tragically passed away due to head injuries sustained in a motor accident.
Musicians Union of Malawi president, Vita Chirwa, mourns the loss of this talented young musician, whose music was touching the hearts of many and represented the future of music in the country.
“It’s devastating to lose this talented budding young musician, whose music was just beginning to touch the hearts of many.
“As a young musician, he represented the future of music in Malawi and his loss has a direct effect on the future of Music in this country,” he said
Tremour came into the limelight with his motivational song “Mpanipani” which encourages people to work hard and to never give up on their dream.
