A house maid only identified as Aunt Flora is in police custody in the capital Lilongwe after been caught red-handed stealing house properties belonging to her boss.
The incident happened on yesterday morning in area 49, according to an eye witness who confided to this publication.
It is said her boss left the house for church leaving the suspect alone and then the suspect took advantage of the situation to hire a two tonne lorry to park everything in the house.
While in the course of her action, one of the neighbors got suspicious of what was happening and called the owner who rushed to the scene and caught her red-handed.
Meanwhile, the suspect is in the hands of police and will appear in court soon.
