Malawi Netball Team Queens’ Centre player Takondwa Lwazi has announced her retirement from playing for the national team.
The 31-year old woman who is also a police officer has made the announcement yesterday on 6th August soon after beating Tonga in a 7th/8th placing match at the 2023 Netball World Cup.
Lwazi has been one of the key players for the national team at various regional, continental and world.
In an interview with Wa Ganyu Facebook page, Lwazi has said that she has done her part and would want to see some new blood in the team.
