The body of well-known economist who once served as Minister of Finance Goodall Gondwe will be laid to rest on Sunday at his home village, Kayiwonanga at Enukweni in Mzimba North.
His nephew, Komani Gondwe has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Gondwe said the family is waiting for two sons of the deceased to fly in from the United State of America.
Currently, vigil is taking place at the late Goodall’s home in Area 10 in Lilongwe.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at Adventist Hospital at around 10:15 PM on Tuesday.
