The burial date for the late Goodall Gondwe has been moved to Monday, according to Jappie Mhango, the Treasurer General of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

The decision to shift the burial to Monday was made due to the delayed flight arrival of the other son, as explained by Mhango.

Mhango mentioned that the rest of the funeral program remains unchanged. The events will commence in Lilongwe today, followed by a visit to Mzuzu, and a church service tomorrow. Subsequently, the journey will proceed to Enukweni.

“The rest of the program is intact. We are starting from Lilongwe today, then be in Mzuzu, and tomorrow church. Thereafter, we will head to Enukweni. Due to delays on flights for the other son who is arriving on Sunday, burial has been shifted to Monday,” said Mhango.
