The Malawi’s state broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has reintroduced the Entertainers of the Year Annual Awards.

MBC Entertainers of the Year has extended an appeal to the corporate world and individuals to support the initiative.

Director General For MBC George Kasakula, has disclosed  that this year’s Entertainers of the Year is budgeted at K78 million.

The sentiment has been when MBC entertainers was addressing journalists at the Central Office of Information in Blantyre.

Chairperson of the organizing committee, Zilane Khonje Phiri, announced that the event will take place on 15 December this year in Lilongwe and urges the public to support the initiative.

This year’s MBC entertainers wards, will consist different categories like Music, Drama, Media personality, Sports, Poetry, Film Digital Media (Social media entertainer of the year) and also Entertainer of the Entertainers.
