Nigerian woman arrested at KIA for possessing 48,000 US dollars

Police have arrested a 59-year-old Nigerian woman, Annie Uzoigwe for being found in possession of 48,000 US dollars.
Deputy National Police Spokesperson, Alfred Chimthere has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
He said the woman attempted to externalize forex through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
Chimthere said Uzoigwe will answer three charges of attempting to externalize forex, altering a force document and illegal possession of forex currency.
