Police in Dowa are currently holding 26 individuals on various charges, including running unlicensed businesses, illegal fuel storage, and possession of counterfeit items.
The arrests were made during a recent district-wide operation.
According to Dowa Police spokesperson Alice Sitima, the suspects, aged between 20 and 40, will be brought to court to answer for their alleged offenses in the near future.
