Information reaching this publication indicates that former Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) Reverend Father Henry Saindi has been suspended for fathering a child with a Zambian woman.
This has been confirmed in a suspension letter signed by Bishop Montfort Sitima of the Diocese of Mangochi seen by this publication.
According to the letter, Father Henry Saindi accepted of fathering a child with a Zambian woman identified as Suzan Jere.
The letter further says that during the suspension period, Father Henry Saindi is not allowed to act on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church.
