The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has announced that the party will hold its elective conference in August next year ahead of the 2025 polls.
MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka has confirmed of the development in a statement released on August 29, 2023 made available to this publication.
Mkaka has since ordered all candidates vying for different posts in the National Executive Committee to desist from campaigning.
He said soon the party will announce the way forward on the matter.
