Pharmanova Truck Carrying Drugs Catches Fire on M1 Road in Mzimba

Information reaching this publication indicate that a Pharmanova company ten-ton truck transporting pharmaceuticals for delivery in Mzuzu caught fire near Watereka on the M1 road in Mzimba.
The blaze resulted in significant damage to medications, including Panado and Headex.
Mzimba police spokesperson Peter Botha stated that the fire is believed to have originated from the vehicle’s main fuse box.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
