One of the leading commercial banks in the country FDH on took to the street in Blantyre to celebrate the bank’s 15 years of existence.

The event started with a parade in the streets of Blantyre by FDH bank employers and the Malawi police band on Friday.

Speaking during the event, FDH financial holdings head of human resources Chrispin Chikwama stated that as a bank they are satisfied with the strides the have achieved over the past 15 years.

He further said the back is eager to bring more innovations in order to contribute to the county’s social economic development.

“From our humble beginning of one branch and one ATM machine, we are now bolstering 52 branches and 91 ATM machines across the country.” said Chikwama.

He also pointed out the listing of FDH bank on the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE) market as another milestone.

Renowned musician Patience Namadingo also graced the occasion.
