Police in Ndirande have nabbed three men for allegedly robbing a hardware shop in the Machinjiri A/10 properties worth K5m.

Ndirande Police Public Relations Officer Maxwell Jailos , has identified the three as Kelvin Kaputa, 38; Prince Kandaya, 31; and Harnod Kampira, 22 who committed the offense last Wednesday.

Jailosi stated that the three suspects are believed to have assaulted two security officers and stole from a hardware store items including Motor vehicle spare parts worth K5 million kwacha and made the arrest following a tip off from the general public.

Meanwhile, police have recovered items worth K2m.
