A middle-aged Nigerian woman has been detained in connection with the killing of her husband, Jakpo Ekemini, in the state’s Mosogar Community, Ethiope West Local Government Area.
DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, said in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Warri on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, that the woman pulled her 32-year-old husband’s t£sticles during a fight between them.
“She did not cut the testicles; she drew it, and you know that part is delicate,” the PPRO explained.
“The man died in the process, and the suspect has been arrested,” he said.
According to a person familiar with the situation, the deceased’s elder brother reported the incident to Mosogar police on Tuesday.
He stated that the event occurred on Tuesday, September 12, about 1:20 p.m., as a result of a misunderstanding between the pair.
“My younger brother’s wife (name withheld) held and drew her husband, Efemini, 32,’s testicles while they were fighting in Mosogar.” My brother slumped and was brought to the hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead. “The body has been deposited at a mortuary in Mosogar,” the deceased’s brother was quoted as saying.
According to reports, the suspect escaped to an unknown location after executing the act. She was later detained and is currently being questioned.
