The Malawi Police Services (MPS) has revealed that several refugees and asylum seekers in the country obtained Malawian passports, national identity cards, and resident permits under questionable circumstances, falsely presenting themselves as Malawian citizens.
Authorities are now urging for in-depth investigations to uncover the methods employed by these individuals to acquire these documents and also to scrutinize their possession of agro-business licenses.
