An unknown woman has been found dead at the Nambala 1 trade centre in Thyolo.
Thyolo Police Deputy Police spokesperson Rabecca Kashoti has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kashot, on Wednesday one businessman at the center spotted and asked the woman what she was waiting for at the Makwasa stage, but she reportedly gave an unconvincing response.
“On 12/10/2023, at about 8:40 am, the person was seen lying on the veranda of the shop, where many thought she was resting. At about 10:00 am, the reporter went to check on her, and he found her breathless,” Kashoti said.
Her body is at Thyolo District Hospital for identification and a postmortem.
