Man takes own life after a fight with his wife over Mk2, 000 in Mangochi

A 24 year old man has taken his own life after picking a quarrel with his wife over Mk2, 000.00 in Mangochi District.
Mangochi Monkey-Bay Police spokesperson Alice Sichali has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as John Missi
According to Sichali, Missi, a Kabaza operator few days ago picked a quarrel with his wife and stopped provided basic necessities at home.
On October 16, 2023, the wife then picked Mk2,000 from the money that her husband was saving to buy food for the house and this angered his husband.
Missi then drunk pesticides and was pronounced dead at Monkey-Bay Health centre where he was receiving treatment.
