Dust settles: Chibade to be buried in Lilongwe

The body of well-known musician Thomas Chankhumba Chibade will be laid to rest at Ngomani Village in Lilongwe this coming Saturday.
This is contrary to earlier communication which indicated that his body will be buried at his home village, Likaluma, in the Area of Traditional Authority Chikowi in Zomba.
The changes follow a discussion between family representatives and chiefs from the area after villagers protested the move to take the body to Zomba for burial.
Chibade died on Wednesday at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
He died at the age of 37.
