Police in Lilongwe on Friday arrested 29 year old Lester Maganga in connection with the murder of a former Coca-cola employee, Allan Wittika, who was found dead in his car in Lilongwe’s Area 15.
National Police Headquarters Deputy Spokesman, Alfred Chimthere, confirmed the arrest on Sunday.
According to Chimthere, preliminary investigations have revealed that Maganga and the late Wittika crossed paths as they had been dating the same girlfriend.
He said the two had been at loggerheads for some time.
Maganga hails from Chikumbu Village in the Area of Traditional Authority Chikumbu in Mulanje District.
