Malawi’s celebrated Master of Ceremony (MC), Gomezgani Tembo has finally commented on his botched wedding with his ex-lover.
Tembo, popularly known as MC Gome was scheduled to tie a knot with his longtime sweetheart last year Lilongwe but the wedding was cancelled at the 11th hour.
This happened after unknown woman showed up at the wedding claiming that she was impregnated by MC Gome.
The development did not go down well with the bride who retaliated by walking out of the church where the wedding was scheduled to be officiated.
The scandal attracted mixed reactions with many blasting him of being a womanizer. Despite all this, Gome kept his silent on the matter up until October 21, 2023.
Speaking at his new wedding at with longtime sweetheart Martha at Amaryllis Hotel, MC Gome said: “You know my story, what happened to me few months ago. She also has story but what i can tell you is that God writes a better story.”
“There was a time my parents were ashamed because of my conduct. There was time her parents were ashamed of her conducts but you know what? One thing that i like about God is that he does not like things they way we see them. When I heard her story and mine, we hard all the reasons even to get married in two months because we were very clear on our goals.”
