Former Football Association of Malawi Committee Member, George Mussa has advised President of Football Association of Malawi (FAM) Walter Nyamilandu not to contents again in the upcoming election in December saying that Mr. Nyamilandu should be satisfied with the 19 years he has been in office.

Mussa leads a group called “Concerned Football Enthusiasts’, and he raised this yesterday at a press conference in Lilongwe, and went on to say that there are some other smart people in Malawi who can manage football.

Mussa also requested the FAM to release the details of the election process so that candidates can prepare fully.

Meanwhile Nyamilandu has not spoken on the matter but last week he told the Soccer Africa program on Super Sport that his decision to stand was based on the wishes of the delegates who elect the officials of the organization
