Well-known musician Kendall Kamwendo of the Symon and Kendall fame is set to premier a film titled School days on 27 October this year at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre.

The film is about Mphatso Machila, who was intelligent and he was selected to a government secondary school, while in school he met some obstacles that messed up his Christianity life.

According to Kendal Kamwendo who is a producer of Schools Day film said the story is about reminding everyone about his or her school days particularly secondary schools.

“For those who studied at boarding secondary schools, the name Bongwe is not new. This is the name that the boys and girls in Form 1 were called by the students in the senior classes.

“We would like to discourage the conduct of vandalism, bullying and teasing that is happening in most schools,” said Kamwendo

Co-scripted by Vincent Nyale, some characters in the movie include Kendall himself, Rudo Mkukupa Chakwera, Blessed Chimombo, Tumpe Mtaya, Yvonne Chanache and Amos Filisa.
