FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, says he is worried about the players healthy over congested fixture that his team is facing.
The peoples team mentor said this on Wednesday after his team came from behind to beat Kamuzu Barracks 3-2 at the Kamuzu Stadium.
” We are tired these players are human beings they need also to rest, to recover and just imagine also in the second half we were looking for an equalizer so when you’re looking for an equalizer you need to temple intensity up hence, we pushed more than in three days’ time again we are going to have another game then what do you expect? They’ll go down again; they’ll do the same way.
“Now, half of my team is injured and we are having problems of squad depth and it’s in crucial positions that we are missing players each and every game that we are playing,” said Pasuwa.
Kamuzu Barracks were off to a commanding start with Olson Kanjira put them ahead in the 10th minutes but Bullets had to score two quick goals in the second half through Ephraim Kondowe and Maxwell Phodo before Kanjira again brought the parity four minutes later. Lanjesi Nkhoma scored the winner for the hosts three minutes later to give Bullets the win.
Following the win, Bullets have opened a three-point gap over second placed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers with 53 points and remain with six games to wrap up the 2023 league campaign
