Information reaching this publication indicates that unknown people have hacked airtel WhatsApp account of Chikumbutso Mtumodzi, Director of Information in the Ministry of Information and Digitization.
This has been revealed in a statement released on Thursday signed by Godfrey Majoni made available to this publication.
“The General Public is being notified that the Airtel whatsApp account belonging to the Director of Information in the Ministry of Information and Digitization Mr. Chikumbutso Mtumodzi has been hacked by unknown fraudster who is now impersonating him,” reads part of the statement.
The reasons for the hacking of the account is not known at the moment.
