The body of Reverend Edina Navaya, former Blantyre Synod Moderator will be laid to rest this coming Tuesday at HHI Cemetery.
Reverend Navaya died on Sunday after a long illness.
According to the information sourced by this publication, on October 30, 2023, the body will be taken from the mortuary at 2pm to Limbe CCAP Manse where vigil is taking place.
“Burial will be on Tuesday the 31st October 2023 at the HHI Cemetery.
“Farewell Service of worship will begin at the Limbe CCAP at 10 am,” reads part of the funeral program.
Navaya, who until her death was ministering at Limbe CCAP Church, served the synod as moderator for four years.
She failed to retain the position in the recently held election for executive members after losing to Humphrey Zgambo.
