President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has held talks with His Majesty King Motlotlehi Letsie III of the Kingdom of Lesotho at the Royal Palace in Maseru.
President Hichilema as Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation was accompanied by SADC Panel of Elders Oversight Committee Chair and fourth President of United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Dr. Jakaya Kikwete in discussing ways of advancing peace and stability in the SADC region.
President Hichilema remains firmly committed to implementing the decisions of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation in order to foster peace, security and stability in the region.
The Head of State has remained committed to ensuring the maintenance of peace, security and stability in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) as a remedy for development.
