Classes at Nkhotakota LEA primary school remained suspended this morning as teachers once again discovered faeces in two of the school’s classrooms.

The teachers initiated their class boycott last Thursday, protesting against unknown individuals who have been defecating in the classrooms.

Following a meeting held yesterday between the school’s committee members and teachers, it was agreed that the teachers should end their boycott and resume classes today while the community intensifies efforts to identify the culprits.

However, one teacher, speaking anonymously, expressed that they will only return to teaching when a lasting solution to prevent these disturbing acts is found.

The ongoing issue of faeces in classrooms continues to impact both students and teachers, raising concerns about the need for a comprehensive resolution to prevent such incidents in the future.
