Football Association of Malawi president, Walter Nyamilandu Manda has announced that he will contest again in FAM’s elections which will take place in Mzuzu.

Nyamilandu announced this on Thursday evening during a press briefing which was aired on Mibawa Television, saying people should trust him because he has great expertise in improving football in the country.

“You do not change a winning side, you better vote for Walter that we take our game forward.

“As a CAF member, I want to use that connection  to develop our game,” Nyamilandu said.

Nyamiandu, who has one nomination, said he will soon launch his Bridging the Gap manifesto.

This means he will face Super League of Malawi-SULOM President, Fleetwood Haiya who is also vying for the position and has three nominations.

The Elective General Assembly will be held on Saturday, 16 December in Mzuzu.
