Due to the recent devaluation of the Kwacha by the Reserve Bank Malawi (RBM),Maranatha Private Academy has hiked school fees by MK70, 000 from this term.

This has been confirmed in a letter dated November 13, 2023 signed by the school’s Headteacher Aaron Banda addressed to Parents and Guardians.

According to the statement, the fee hike has been attributed to the recent 44 percent devaluation of the kwacha which has resulted into the skyrocketing of prices of goods on the market.

Banda said the MK70, 000.00 additional fees represent 10 percent.
