Two leading mobile companies in the country, Airtel Malawi Limited and Telkom Networks Malawi (TNM) have jointly obtained an injunction restraining its agents across the country from holding protest this coming Thursday.
The disgruntled mobile money agents wanted to protest with an aim of pushing the two mobile companies to hike the commission which they claim is on the lower side.
Robert Nkhoma, leader of the disgruntled mobile money agents has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
He said currently the leadership is it talks with the lawyer on the way forward.
Last week, mobile money operators embarked on a national wide sit-in but it failed to achieve its purpose.
