Melinda, enstranged wife to multi billionaire Bill Gates and Michelle, wife to ex-US president Barack Obama, are slated to meet President Lazarus Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace today.
The two sneaked into the country Monday night under heavy security through Kamuzu International Airport on a girls’ project visit.
The two chartered a plane into the country days ago.
The visit has been kept away from the media.
When she was first lady, Michelle ever hosted a rescued “girl-turned-bride” from Malawi who became an ambassador for girls returning to school after unwarranted stints in marriages.
