Bodyguard of Former president Norman Chisale, has arrived at the Principal Resident Magistrate Court in Lilongwe, where the court is expected to hear from government witness on the request made by Chisale that he should be released on bail.
The court yesterday adjourned until this morning to hear the petition following a disagreement between the government and the defendants regarding reasons why the government do not want Chisale to come out until the police have finished investigating his case.
Chisale was arrested last week on suspicion that he was harassing government officials who are handling his cases.
Principal Resident Magistrate Rodrick Michongwe is the one hearing the case today.
