Police in Kasungu have arrested two brothers Mphatso and Chifundo Machimo for allegedly being found in possession of 13 ammunitions.

Kasungu Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho says police arrested the two following a tip that they suspects were offering the ammunitions for sale at Katakwe Village in the area of Chief Santhe in the district.

According to Kachikho they are yet to get to establish as to how the two got the ammunition without a valid licence.

“We are currently investigating how they managed to get the ammunition before taking them to court”Kachikho said.

Mphatso and Chifundo Machimo hail from Katakwe village in the area of Chief Santhe in the district.
