Malawi Can Generate 700 Million US Dollars Through Cannabis – Chithyola

Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Simplex Chithyola Banda has said that Malawi has potential to generate US$700 million a year from cannabis biomass.
The sentiment has been made today in the august house when the minister was presenting the 2023/2024 Mid-Year Budget Review Statement.
He adds that Government is reviewing Cannabis Regulation Act of 2020 to allow the participation of local cannabis on the international market.
