FAM postpones airtel top 8 quarterfinal second leg match between Wanderers and Silver

Football association of Malawi has postponed the airtel top 8 quarterfinal second leg match between Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver strikers which was scheduled for Saturday 25th November 2023.

According to a statement signed by Football Association of Malawi Competitions Director. Gomezgani Zakazaka, the development has come because of the on-going disciplinary case on the first leg match following Wanderers’ appeal against the FAM Competitions Committee decision.

FAM ordered Wanderers to pay K24.5 Million and awarded Silver Strikers that they won 2-0 following the riots at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

MAFCO is waiting for the winner between the nomads and silver to find out who will they play with in the semifinals of the airtel top 8.
