Heavy Presence Of Police At Kalindo’s Demos In Blantyre

There is a heavy police presence at a demonstration organized by activist Bon Kalindo in Blantyre.
The demonstrators are protesting against the recent 44 percent devaluation of the kwacha by the Tonse Alliance government of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
They also want to raise concerns about the implementation of this year’s Affordable Inputs Program, which has left many families out.
As of now, the demonstrations are approaching Blantyre Central Business District.
