Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma has said that it is the government of Dr. Lazarus Chakwera that has shown great interest in fighting against corruption.

Chizuma said that the arrival of other heads of ACB from SADC is a confirmation that the fight against corruption in the country is coming to an end.

She said she is very happy that the government is providing sufficient funds for the bureau to do its work.

She added that she is waiting for the minister to table in Parliament which will allow the buraue to give power to investigate people who have money and other things which is known as “Lifestyle Audits”.

Chizuma said this today at the Anti-Corruption Bureau Symposium at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
