There is a low turnout of people expected to take part in today’s demonstrations happening in Zomba.
The demonstrations, which will kick off from Zomba Stadium, are being led by political activist Bon Kalindo.
The demonstrators are protesting the 44% devaluation of the Malawi Kwacha, which was announced by the Reserve Bank of Malawi two weeks ago.
Kalindo also led other demonstrations in Blantyre yesterday, which were attended by a lot of people.
