In Mulanje, unidentified assailants killed a motorcyclist, Mavuto Sauzande, and stole his motorcycle at Sayama turn-off along the Chitakale-Muloza road.
Mulanje Police Spokesman Innocent Moses reported that Sauzande, accompanied by a friend, was riding a Lifo motorcycle on his way home from a drinking spree when the incident occurred.
Although the passenger managed to escape, Sauzande was attacked and killed by the assailants, who fled the scene with the motorcycle.
Police, led by Moses, have initiated investigations to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the crime.
