Lightning Strikes Claim Two Lives in Kasungu

Two people have died after being struck by lightning in Kasungu district since the onset of the rainy season, the Department of Disaster Management Affairs has said.

In a statement, Charles Kalemba, Commissioner for Dodma said until now, rains have caused havoc to nearly five hundred households nationwide.

He has since said the commission is intensifying awareness campaigns among other tasks to ensure people are safe.
