Karonga Based side, Baka city have been promoted to the TNM Super league after winning the Northern Region Football Association Simso Innobuild Premier League Division, with two games left to play.
Baka city announced their arrival in the country elite league after beating Ekwendeni united 2-1 on Saturday.
The team has played 12 games in the league where they have won 9 games, drawn 1 and lost twice and they have 28 points.
Second placed Embangweni United have 21 points whereas Kadona Stars on third position have 20 points and both can’t reach 28 points
This means that for the first time, Karonga district will have two teams competing in the TNM Super League.
