FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have reached the airtel top 8 finals after beating Blue Eagles 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Bingu National Stadium.

The peoples team started the match on a high note after scoring 2 quick goals in the first 10 minutes of the match through Hassan Kajoke and Lanjesi Nkhoma.

Despite conceding 2 early goals Blue Egles settled well in match and created a number golden scoring opportunities but lacked some firepower and clinical finishing, which lead them to trail in the first half by 2 goals to nil

In the second half the area 30 based side started the match on the flyer as the pulled a goal back through super substitute, Christopher Gototo.

Ephraim Gondowe restored the peoples 2 goal cushion in the 80 minutes of the match before Gomezgan Chirwa gifting Richard Rabson a goal after some poor communication with the goalkeeper to make it 3-2.

Bullets finished the match with 10 men after Blessings Mpokera was showned a second yellow card for delaying the play.

The win means, Bullets have reached a record of 4th Airtel Top 8 finals in 6 seasons.

The people’s team will wait for the winner between Mafco and Silver Strikers/ Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
