A man has been shot in area 44 in Lilongwe following misunderstanding he had with a white man in the area of senior chief Khundi, T/A Tsabango over a land.
Senior Chief Khundi has said that the government sold a certain land to a white man who is said to have shot the man who is Tiferanji Chipoko because they did not understand each other over the land.
“Some people in the village want the land they claim is theirs because the government did not give them a tear well up when they sold them the land,” Khundi said.
Khundi added that he and his people have been visiting government offices to help them in this matter but the government did not consider their request.
Chipoko who was shot is now at the Kamuzu Central Hospital receiving treatment.
