Leader of the opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa has finally submitted evidence as demanded by the Speaker of parliament Catherine Gotoni Hara regarding the 221 youths who have gone to Israel.

Nankhumwa on Thursday alleged that there are two schools of thought that the young Malawians were going to farms with another school of thought saying they were going to join the Israeli-Palestinian War on the part of Israel.

Nankhumwa said he wanted to present the evidence in the house, saying he has brought two files to support his allegations.

When Parliament resumed, leader of the House Richard Chimwendo Banda and Lilongwe Mpenu lawmaker Eisenhower Mkaka have logged complaints to the Speaker about the conduct on Nankhumwa on the matter.

Trade Minister Sosten Gwengwe has asked Gotani Hara to allow Nankhumwa to pronounce himself on whether he has submitted the evidence at the office of the Speaker.

But Nankhumwa said during the health break, he was writing a cover letter and that the evidence has since been submitted to the Speaker’s office.

Gotani Hara has since adjourned the House for 30 minutes to look at the evidence submitted.
