Willard Gwengwe sworn-in as MP for Dedza Central Constituency

Newly-elected parliamentarian for Dedza Central Constituency Willard Gwengwe has been sworn in following his victory in the November 16 by-election.
The swearing-in ceremony, which was conducted by Chief Justice Rezine Mzikamanda took place in Parliament chambers this morning and was witnessed by Malawi Congress Party (MCP) director of Youth Richard Chimwendo Banda, who is also leader of the house.
In his remarks, Mzikamanda advised the new MP to live up to the promises he made to his constituents during the campaign period.
