DODMA Caution Relief Distributors

The Department of Disaster Management Affairs, (DoDMA) has warned people against misappropriating relief items meant for people affected by hunger.
The caution follows recent reports from Salima where police arrested four people who are suspected to have stolen bags of maize meant for distribution to food insecure households in Mangochi.
Spokesperson for DoDMA, Chipiliro Khamula has strongly condemned the vice issuing a warning that authorities will ensure all suspects face the law.
At the moment, the authorities are reaching out to all 4.4 million people who are food insecure in the country.
