Minister of Agriculture, Sam Kawale said 46 percent of those who are expected to benefit from the plan to buy cheap agriculture equipment this year have already bought equipment such as fertilizers.
Kawale has spoken this today in Lilongwe together with the minister of Information.
He also said that Japan has donated 104, 000 bags of fertilizer to this country which has already started arriving in the country to help in the program.
Meanwhile Kawale has said 486, 000 bags of fertilizers are the ones left for the country to buy when the government finds money it will buy.
