President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed Professor Wilson Mandala as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor for the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), effective January 1, 2024.
Professor Mandala, an immunologist with diverse academic qualifications, has been serving as the Executive Dean of the Academy of Medical Sciences at MUST since 2017.
The appointment is expected to bring a dedication to academic excellence and contribute to steering the university toward a dynamic educational landscape.
Professor Mandala takes over from Professor Jonathan Makuwira in this key leadership role.
