“For us to retain the title, it’s how we planned at the start of the season. It has not been easy for us to win the super league for five consecutive years but I must say one area that I have taken care of is the dressing room, these players at times you need to be closer to them.
“If I can tell you all these players I know where they stay, I even go in their houses to seat and eat whatever they eat to see how their social life is all about so when they are playing football, they gave all of their best even if things are difficult because there is a bond between me and them,” Said Pasuwa.
Meanwhile Silver Strikers coach Pieter De Jong, said that silvers board did not support the team and that’s why they have failed to win the league.
“I asked for a Stricker in march but the board failed to provide a Stricker whom a wanted. We were playing a very good football but our problem was to score.
“The board allowed Football Association of Malawi to take some players to join the Flames team camp in preparation for the COSAFA tournament in August, but overall, this tournament is not on the FIFA calendar and this disturb our game plan, said De Jong.
The win marks Bullets fifth successive TNM Super League title and a record 17th overall.
